Creating a social reel for a DJ set at a nightclub was completely new to me but I had a great time creating the sequence. I was given a song and some reference videos and was set free to be as creative as possible. I wanted to match the energy of the club and create quick cuts of fast paced scenes. I included lots of additive dissolves to transition smoothly into the next shot, but to also give a slight dazed feel to the footage. The clients communicated back and forth with me for any appropriate changes and I was able to amend these within a quickly.
